A total of 32 participants who were selected and completed the online course from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) were awarded a Course Completion Certificate. The Certificate awarding ceremony was officiated by the Chief Representative Malaysia Office, TAKIZAWA Masahiko.
This event was the first of its kind which, among others, aimed to build relationships with JICA Training participants and build stronger relationships with them. Due to this unfavourable pandemic situation, myJICA has almost no opportunity to contact JICA Training participants who follow the JICA program online, Therefore, this ceremony was held to enable the awarding of this certificate to be carried out.
This event organized by myJICA in collaboration with JICA and the support of the Public Service Department (JPA) has helped alumni to reconnect with new participants as well as provide them with the information needed to stay in touch and highlight training and academic exchange programs as one from the success story of the Look East Policy (LEP) in conjunction with the commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the Look East Policy (LEP).
