MYJICA in collaboration with UniKL organise Training Module on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Crisis and Disaster at UniKL Business School, KL on 7 December 2019. Training conducted and facilitated by Dr. Nurashikin Ibrahim and Mr. Lee Boon Hock. Attended by UniKL students, JICA Malaysia Chief-Mr. Kensuke Fukawa and JICA Malaysia Representative-Ms Akaishi Fumiko. Event officiated by Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak bin Abdul Hadi, Deputy Dean of UniKL Business School.
The 36th myJICA AGM was held on 05 May 2024 virtual and physical at Adamson Hotel, Kuala Lumpur and officiated by Mr Norazizul bin Abdul Aziz, President of myJICA. The meeting was attended by 33 members throughout Malaysia including members from Sarawak Chapter. Among the tentative program are selection of new Exco members for 2024-2026,
CSR : Mangrove Planting at Kuala Gula has been conducted on 22 July 2023. The program was conducted in collaboration with Perak Forestry Department. Thanks to Mr.Hamzah and the team from Perak Forestry Department for tremendous support. Besides, mangrove planting, myJICA alumni got opportunities to visits the charcoal factory.
MYJICA in collaboration with Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), UKM organised UKMatsuri 2023 on 4 July 2023 at UKM. Among the activities are Cosplay Parade, Forum Opportunities for local Japanese speaker, cosplay fashion show, karaoke contest, origami, kana, calligraphy, Japanese craft, fan art contest and food demonstration.
